PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Janet Adetinuke Akinmoladun is a Senior Lecturer at the premier University of Ibadan and an honorary Consultant Radiologist to the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Nigeria. She is a Fellow of the Faculty of Radiology of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) and National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCR).
She had her subspecialty trainings in Fetal imaging and paediatric Radiology at the fetomaternal unit of the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield teaching hospital, Sheffield, United Kingdom and Nelson Mandela Children Hospital, Johannesburg, South Africa respectively.
Dr. Akinmoladun is the consultant Radiologist in charge of the antenatal clinic ultrasound unit of the University College Hospital, Ibadan where she teaches and trains resident doctors in obstetric ultrasound and prenatal ultrasound screenings for fetal anomalies.
She isthe coordinator of the UCH basic and advanced courses in obstetrics and emergency Radiology andone of the facilitators of the ISUOG approved Benin fetal medicine ultrasound course in Nigeria.
She has over thirty publications in both local and international peer reviewed journals. She has made academic presentations in many conferences, both locally and international.
